Dengue: profile of hematological and biochemical dynamics
AIM The objective of this study was to correlate laboratory tests during the evolution of dengue fever, comparing frequencies between the different clinical forms in order to use test results to predict the severity of the disease. METHODS This is an observational, descriptive and retrospective study of 154 patients with clinical and serological diagnoses of dengue fever who, in the period fr...
متن کاملEffects of Training Load on Some Hormonal, Hematological and Biochemical Profile of Male Cyclists
Hematological profiles of cyclists fluctuates are based on the volume/frequency/intensity of training. The present study examined the effects of training load on the cyclist’s biochemical profile which may be associated with over training. Twelve male cyclists volunteered to participate in this study. The participants completed a systematic training program which was divided into four phases i....
متن کاملBiochemical profile of erythrocyte membrane of jaundiced neonates.
Studies in newborn humans have demonstrated alteration in the lipid, phospholipid and cholesterol content when compared with age-matched control. Membrane bound (Na+ + K+)ATPase activity is found to be significantly increased in jaundiced neonates. Alteration in membrane permeability characteristics in jaundiced neonates causes severe microenvironmental changes in red blood cell profile.

متن کاملBiochemical Blood Profile of Angoni Cattle in Mozambique
The normal reference values of serum proteins, metabolites and minerals of Angoni cattle in Angonia Mozambique and the effects of age, sex and physiological state were determined. These indigo animals, which proved to be more adaptable to the harsh climatic conditions and common diseases, are relative free genetically of the “imported genes” for better production from outside Africa. Eighty-fou...
